Recording a consultation
Patient's own share, insurance reimbursement and supplement calculated from your INAMI/RIZIV codes, both under direct billing and when the patient pays in full.
For independent practitioners in Belgium
Patiflo records each consultation, calculates what is owed according to your INAMI/RIZIV codes, and keeps track of what still has to be billed to the health insurance fund. No spreadsheet, however many practices you work in.
Access granted within 48 hours — no demonstration required first.
A practice, day to day
Every practice runs its own scheduling and billing software. If you work in several places, the overall picture exists nowhere — except in a spreadsheet you maintain yourself, in the evening.
Features
01
Patient's own share, insurance reimbursement and supplement calculated from your INAMI/RIZIV codes, both under direct billing and when the patient pays in full.
02
At any moment, the list of what has been billed and what is still pending. Nothing slips through at the end of the quarter.
03
All your consultations, across every practice, with filters by period, insurance fund and payment, plus bulk actions.
04
Whatever calendar your practice uses: you map the columns once, duplicates are flagged. Direct import from Progenda is already in place.
05
Revenue by practice and by examination, alerts, annual and monthly targets, and the pace required to reach them.
06
Everything Patiflo holds, exported into a file ready to send. Other export layouts can be added.
07
The national register number is checked and formatted as you type, the phone country is recognised, and patients without a Belgian ID card are catered for.
08
Each practitioner picks a language when creating their account, and can change it at any time.
09
Data entry also works on a smartphone screen, between two practices or at the end of the day.
The core of it
This is the step that gets pushed to the end of the day, then to the end of the week. In Patiflo, every consultation carries its status. One filter shows everything still to be billed, for the period and the practice you choose.
Patiflo tracks the status of your billing. Sending the claim to the insurance fund remains yours to do, through your usual channel.
First feedback
20 min
saved on entering a list of 12 patients, thanks to the import.
1 h / week
at least, at 12 patients a day, on list entry alone.
2 h / week
less administration in total, including what goes to the accountant.
The gain does not stop at the week. What used to go to the accountant every month in a hand-kept file is now generated in one click, complete and structured. And at the end of the financial year, closing the books no longer means reconstructing the year consultation by consultation: it is all there already, exportable over the whole period.

Continuity
At the hospital, the calendar is not yours: you consult your slots in the institution's system, and the secretariat often prints them for you. In your own practice you manage everything — until the day you leave it, the group switches software, or the partnership breaks up. Either way, the record of your activity stays behind.
Patiflo belongs to you, not to the place. Your consultations stay in your register, whichever practice they were carried out in, and wherever you work next.
The habit worth keeping: export your year every January. That file depends neither on the practice you will one day leave, nor on us.
Patiflo tracks your consultations and your billing. It does not replace the patient record, whose keeping and retention remain your responsibility — as does compliance with the rules of the institution where you work.
Data and security
Your data is hosted with Infomaniak, in Switzerland.
They are hashed with bcrypt. Nobody can read them, ourselves included.
At every sign-in, a six-digit code valid for ten minutes is sent to your e-mail, on top of your password. All traffic runs over an encrypted connection (HTTPS).
Every account is strictly separated. You are the data controller; Patiflo acts only as processor, under a written agreement.
Why Patiflo exists
Patiflo started from something observed daily: a specialist doctor juggling the platforms of several practices, keeping her consultations in a spreadsheet, and taking calls from patients whose file she could not immediately place.
My name is Yannick and I work in application management. I do not come from the medical world, so Patiflo does not claim to teach you anything about your profession. It simply takes over what costs you time between two patients, and it was built screen by screen, from what was actually missing.
That is also why the beta phase matters so much. The feedback of the first practitioners decides what gets added before the official launch. Concretely: if your practice's calendar exports its lists in a format Patiflo does not yet recognise, or if your accountant expects a different file layout, that is exactly the kind of request the beta phase is there to handle.
Beta programme
Free access throughout the beta phase, then 20 % off for two years after the official launch. Help with the setup is included: INAMI/RIZIV codes, tariffs and migration of your history.
